I installed Wygwam, followed the directions and the formatting buttons are not appearing.
My setup:
• PHP5
• EE Version 2.1.3
• All files are placed correctly in system/expressionengine/third_party & themes/third_party
• My Wygwam version is: 2.3.5
My Javascript console shows the following:
Wygwam is not defined
admin.php?S=1c0a7aaf3f3aab6c6b1d8dde6442dc068a1da501&D=cp&C=content_publish&M=entry_form&channel_id=1()admin....el_id=1 (line 880)

Was this a Wygwam upgrade? Can you try clearing your cache?
Are you accessing the control panel from the same domain that is set in your "URL to your themes folder" setting (www.domain.com and domain.com are considered two separate domains). -
-
No, it was a new install. I've tried clearing my cache, but I still get the JS error.
I can only access this dev site using a "http://wwwdev." prefix to the domain, and the "URL to themes folder" setting reflects this. -

Is there any chance I could get super admin credentials to check out the problem myself? If so, send to brad@pixelandtonic.com.
Thanks,

I don't think I can do that. Is there something I can screenshot? Perhaps the results of the Error or Scripts in Console?
-
-
Yeah, a screenshot of those would be helpful.
Can you access domain.com/themes/third_party/wygwam/scripts/wygwam.js directory from your browser?
Thanks,

How about a screenshot of the actual errors in the console?
Can you access domain.com/themes/third_party/wygwam/scripts/wygwam.js directory from your browser?

Can you check the permissions of that file and the themes/third_party/wygwam/scripts directory?
Try changing to them to 755 and see if that fixes your problem.
Thanks,

It appears the way in which our development server was set up was preventing true access to the needed files.
This has been fixed by our IT person. Thank you! -
