Unable to create Assets subfolder in IE8
I'm unable to create subfolders in Assets when using IE8 (I don't know about any of the other versions of IE). I am able to right click and select the option to create a subfolder, but after it is selected nothing happens. This is both in the standalone module on the Wygwam integration of Assets. It works fine in Firefox and all other browsers.

HI James,
When this happens, are you experiencing any other issues? Like, unable to upload files, etc.? Or just creating subfolders? -
-
Yes, they are able to upload files in IE8. It is just creating the subdirectories that isn't working in IE8.

Are you using Assets 1.1.4? We addressed a couple IE compatibility issues in that update.

I tried updating to 1.1.4... no luck. Any other ideas? Let me know if you need a login to the CP.

When you updated to 1.1.4, did you make sure to upload the new themes/third_party/assets/ folder and clear your browser’s cache?

I was able to gain access to an IE8 machine and test it for myself today. There is one of those stealth horizontal IE alerts that goes across the top warning about a script generated popup. Once I clicked ok I was able to add a subdirectory. So that must be the client's issue. I think I can help them from here. Sorry for the trouble.
