Search Assets by keyword?

I expected to be able to search for keywords in the search field on the Assets File Manager. I guess this is either a bug or a feature request!

It’s tentatively on the roadmap for v1.2. No ETA though, it’s going to be a big release.

Is there any way to search through or group the files in the meantime? This would save us the step of having to create separate entries for each keyword or group of photos.

What do you mean "group the files"? You can move files into subfolders.

Rather then create entries in, for example, a photo gallery channel, we were hoping to have a way to output files together in a related group. We thought the keywords feature would do this for us, but it looks like that's TBA.
