Safecracker Errors after Upgrade to EE 2.4/Matrix 2.2.4

Edit Subject

I have upgraded EE to 2.4 and Matrix to 2.2.4. When I submit a safecracker form, I get the following error (see attached).

Any help appreciated. Thank you.

Sorry, forgot to update this thread. This has been officially fixed in Matrix 2.3.

Hi,

Try this for me: Open up system/expressionengine/third_party/matrix/ft.matrix.php, and find the delete() function. Replace that entire function with this one:

function delete($entry_ids)

{

	if ($entry_ids)

	{

		$rows = $this->EE->db->select('row_id')

		                     ->where_in('entry_id', $entry_ids)

		                     ->get('matrix_data');


		if ($rows->num_rows())

		{

			$row_ids = array();


			foreach ($rows->result() as $row)

			{

				$row_ids[] = $row->row_id;

			}


			$this->delete_rows($row_ids);

		}

	}

}

Let me know if that fixes this.

Thanks Brandon - It did not fix it. Here is some more information:

The form is multi-part, so I can create a new record, and start editing the info. All is well on any part that does not have a matrix field. As soon as I edit a part that has a matrix field, it saves as normal and then returns. Anytime after that, when I go to edit and save a part, even if the form part I am editing does not have matrix, I get the same php error.

Is there any chance I can get Super Admin and FTP access so I can look into this myself? If so please send the credentials to support@pixelandtonic.com, along with a description on where to go + how to reproduce the errors.
