Finally upgraded to EE 2.0 yesterday, bought new versions of Matrix and Playa in the hopes that I could continue using that popular image replacement technique I set up a year ago. Problem is, its been so long, I forgot how I set it up!
Matrix and Playa have been installed, but when I try to Edit Content that has this setup, I get an error saying something about nGen file field...looked it up and found 1.0.2 version which looks like it was updated 8/16 of this year. The instructions though, I think are for EE 1.0, and i wonder if maybe I'm not supposed to use this field type anymore because of the new fieldtypes in EE 2.0.
Is this right? Or should I install the nGen field file located on ngenworks.com? If so, where should I put it -- the directories are different.
Thanks in advance -- appreciate all your hard work with these add-ons.

nGen File only works with EE1. In EE2, you should use the built-in File fieldtype instead.

Thanks for the quick reply...but oy, does this mean I've got to go through and reassign everything again? The radio button cells seemed to have survived the update, but the files all say "Add File"...

You have to run a MySQL query to update your nGen File Fields to the EE2 File counterpart.
If this is for a Matrix field, here’s a modified version for Matrix cells. -
