Matrix Multi-Upload 1.0 not working

Edit Subject

Since upgrading to Matrix Multi-Upload 1.0, I'm getting the following error:

We couldn’t find any Matrix fields with a File column on this page.

Also, in column 2 it says the following:

You browser doesn’t support multi-file uploading.

Using EE 2.2.1 and Matrix 2.2.2.1 and Chrome on Win 7

When you updated, did you make sure to upload the new themes folder as well?

Did you come from an earlier version of MMU that was working, or is this a fresh install?

Did you try clearing your browser’s cache?

I'm getting this too with MMU 1.0, Matrix 2.2.2.1 and EE 2.1.0. Matrix was already installed (just upgraded to 2.2.2.1) but MMU wasn't.

Originally I had the same errors in different columns as jwb but I'd forgotten to upload the MMU themes folder but even after doing that and clearing browser cache, I still get the 'couldn't find file column' error.

I think it was Template Variables which was causing it cos it was throwing a js error that was actually stopping Matrix from working as well.
