Line break button?

I've looked thru the "Advanced Settings" and am not able to find anything that would allow me to add a "line-break" button.

On occasion I find that the editor will add a line-break but to be honest with you, I'm not certain what steps were followed to generate the
tag. Is there a process you're aware of that will add this tag?

Ultimately, I'd like to provide my client a way to insert a line-break without having to manually enter it via the "Source" while still maintaining the default behavior of the editor wrapping content with

when the "user" hits return.

Is what I'm interested a Feature? Is it something I would have to create a plugin for?
