Is file uploading available in this older version of Wygwam?
There's an older EE1.6.8 site with Wygwam 2.0.3 installed. I don't see any option to upload a file in either the "link" menu or the "image" menu. I found another support post that said it's because I haven't set an upload directory. But I can't find that setting anywhere. I thought maybe that functionality wasn't available yet. Thanks for any info!

You just need to assign your Wygwam configuration to an upload directory first, in Modules > Wygwam.Comment -

Brandon, Wygwam isn't under Modules...I think it is because it's an older version? At some point was it just a fieldtype? I'm not sure as I didn't set this site up originally...

Sorry, try Utilities > Fieldtypes Manager > Wygwam then.

Brandon, All it has is the Settings dropdown that has the toolbar configurations..nothing else

Hmm... I’m pretty sure Wygwam has always had a module where you manage the configurations. It's possible that it was just never uploaded to your site.

I just tried reinstalling Wygwam 2.0.3, and I apologize, I had completely forgotten how Wygwam 2 worked!
There were no "editor configurations" back then, just separate toolbars, which you could define in Wygwam's global settings in the Fieldtypes Manager. And the upload directory setting is actually just a normal Field setting. So if you go into Admin > Channel Administration > Custom Channel Fields > [your field group] > [your Wygwam field], you should be able to set the upload directory there. -
