Hi There,
Just trying to get P&T list up and running and everything seems to be working except adding list items in CP.
If I want to add a new list item, I have to save the page each time - is this how it should work? I was expecting to be able to add multiple items then click save - similar to Matrix.
Any help would be much appreciated - love the add-on BTW. A great solution that lets clients add lists which need classes.

1Hi Ben,
Just click "Return" to add multiple items.
I probably should add a button though, to make it more obvious. -

Sweet mate, thank you so much - once you know it's all good.
Maybe just add it to the docs - although a little plus button would be a nice touch.
Just gave you a little beer money as well.
Cheers

Am I missing something, because when I press 'return' it saves the entry. I'm using PT List on EE1.

Never mind, seems like I had an extension that was taking over the return button and saving the entry.

I don't have a "return" in my pt list field type in the entry form. I can only add items by quick save or update the entry. Using EE1.7. Which extension caused your hick-up John?

Three over from "L" ;)

It was Blis Publish Button which adds another save button to the page so you don't have to scroll to the top on long forms.

For the record, it seems like LG Live Look can shanghai adding list items as well (EE 1.6.8; List is in a Matrix field). A dedicated button would be very helpful. :)

Is adding a button still something that's on the cards? I'm getting the same problem, and hitting return just activates the submit button. Whilst I personally don't mind doing that, I'd not want my clients to have to do that.
Cheers.
If clicking Return is submitting the page, then there’s a JavaScript error on your page, and even if there were an “Add” button, it wouldn’t do anything.
Check your browser’s JavaScript console to see what the error(s) are.
After some fiddling, things seem to be working nicely. A "user error" in this case, as per usual... we all know you guys make perfect EE plugins :P
Cheers.
