Datepicker in Matrix looks odd

Edit Subject

I am using a matrix field with a date field and the datepicker looks odd (without formatting) and different than the standard date field.

I don't know if this is normal or something is up.

Using EE 1.6.9
FieldFrame 1.4.2
Martix 2.0.2

It's just using the jQuery UI theme styles. You're probably just using the default jQuery UI build from Google.

If you create your own jQuery UI script on http://jqueryui.com/download and choose to use a theme, upload it to your server and point to it in CP jQuery's extension settings, it will look like whichever theme you choose.

I have this same problem and I don't see any way to APPLY the theme. I can point the jQuery extensions setting to point to the .js file for the UI, but there doesn't seem to be anywhere I can find to tell it what stylesheet to actually use...

The datepicker looked fine in 1.5 but on updating to 2.0.6 it looks like Mario's screenshot above and I can't seem to fix :(

  In my case, I added the following after line 140:
  $replace .= ' '."\n";

I ended up just pasting in the entirety of a jquery-ui.css file at the bottom of /themes/matrix/matrix.css, and copying the images somewhere it could find them.

That works, but it's a hack.

The easiest way of fixing this issue that I found was to use LG Add Sitename's capability of inserting HTML code into your CP. In the extension settings, in the XHTML field, I put this at the top:

<link href="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.7/themes/ui-lightness/jquery-ui.css" media="all" rel="Stylesheet" type="text/css" />

The closest themes to the EE1 CP style (see thumbnails here) seem to me to be Redmond, Flick, or Cupertino.
